Roles and Responsibilities:
– Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
– Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and data warehousing concepts.
– Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
– Basic knowledge of operating systems and cloud platforms.
– Strong skills in information gathering and requirement documentation.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Hands-on experience with building data processing systems and data pipelines.
– Understanding of SQL (Postgres, MySQL, RDS, etc.) and NoSQL (Mongo, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.) technologies.
– Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation is a plus.
– Beginner to intermediate level experience with public cloud data services (AWS | GCP | Azure).
– Minimum of 2 years of experience developing BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

Qualifications:

– BS in computer science, or a related field.
