Roles and Responsibilities:
– Extensive expertise in developing and optimizing SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
– Proficient in utilizing SSRS for effective data visualization and reporting.
– A comprehensive grasp of data modelling and database design principles.
– Hands-on experience with SSIS for the creation and management of ETL processes.
– Sound understanding of data engineering principles, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and managing data in JSON and other semi-structured formats.
– Knowledgeable about data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
– Well-versed in operating systems.
– Strong abilities in gathering information and documenting requirements.
– Quick learner with a knack for adapting to fast-paced, customer-driven development environments.
– Collaborative team player with exceptional teamwork skills.
– 2+ years of experience with building data processing systems and data pipelines.
– Decent understanding of SQL (Postgres, MySQL, RDS, etc.) and NoSQL (Mongo, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.) technologies.
– Hands-on experience with any Data visualization tool e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker etc
– Understanding of Cloud databases e.g. Azure SQL etc.

Qualifications:

– BS in computer science, or a related field. Any relevant certifications.
